Factor is an on-chain hedge fund and analytics layer for tokenized stocks on Robinhood Chain. It scores every stock on four factors, ranks them, packages the best into a one-click ETF, and gives anyone a self-custody terminal to trade them. Everything runs on public chain data with the official issuer contracts — no black box, no custody.

1What Factor is

Robinhood Chain launched with dozens of tokenized stocks but none of the plumbing traditional markets take for granted — no rankings, no benchmarks, no index products, no easy way to tell the real token from a copy. Factor fills that gap. It does three things:

Scores & ranks every tokenized stock on the chain, every day.
Packages the winners into live portfolios and a one-click ETF (FCTR10).
Lets you trade any of them from a self-custody terminal that runs entirely in your browser.

It is deliberately transparent: the formula is published, the marks are chain data, the contract addresses come from Robinhood's official registry, and anything estimated is labelled as such.

2Tokenized stocks, briefly

A Stock Token is an ERC-20 token on Robinhood Chain that tracks the price of a real share or ETF — tNVDA follows NVIDIA, tSPY follows the S&P 500 ETF, and so on. They're issued by Robinhood Assets (Jersey) Limited, trade 24/7 in on-chain pools, and settle into your wallet like any token. They give you price exposure, not shareholder rights, and they are not offered to U.S. persons or in other restricted jurisdictions.

Because a token only moves when someone trades it, its on-chain price can drift from the stock's real exchange price — especially while the market is closed. That drift is information, and it's one of the things Factor measures.

3The Factor Score

Four numbers per stock, combined into one, computed fresh every day. This is the "formula trading" engine.

Every tokenized stock gets scored 0–100 on each of four factors, ranked against the whole market, then blended into one composite score. In plain terms:

Momentum — is it trending up? (blended 1-, 7-, 30-day return)
Volatility — how hard does it swing? (calmer names score higher)
Liquidity — how easy is it to get in and out? (holders + float)
Flow — is money arriving? (holder growth + trade direction)

4Portfolios & the ETF

The score isn't just a leaderboard — it drives real, tracked portfolios:

Momentum portfolio — the top names by momentum, equal weight, rebalanced weekly.
Steady portfolio — the calmest liquid names, for people who don't want the rollercoaster.
FCTR10, the Factor ETF — the ten best stocks by combined score, equal weight (10% each), rebalanced weekly as the rankings move.

The ETF is a tracked, non-custodial basket. Buying it doesn't hand your money to a fund — it buys the ten underlying Stock Tokens into your own wallet. You can do that in one place through the terminal, or buy any single holding straight from its pool. Every portfolio tracks its value from a base of 100 and logs each rebalance publicly.

FCTR10 buys are routed only to the official issuer pools — the contract addresses come from Robinhood's registry API, never guessed from a token's name or pool size, which is exactly how counterfeit tokens try to fool buyers.

5The Trading Terminal

Factor ships its own self-custody terminal. It runs entirely in your browser with no backend:

Your key, your browser. Generate or import a key; it's encrypted with your password and only the encrypted keystore is stored locally. It's saved on this browser only — so back it up.
Real on-chain swaps. Live prices from the pools, quotes with slippage control, and trades signed locally and sent straight to the chain's public RPC through Uniswap-v3.
Simulate first. Every trade can be dry-run against the live contracts before you ever go live; real broadcasts take a deliberate confirmation.

The only network call is the chain's own RPC. No third-party API, no accounts, no data leaving your machine.

6What we contribute to Robinhood Chain

Factor is built to make the tokenized-stock market on Robinhood Chain more usable for everyone on it:

Benchmarks & index products. We bring the rankings, portfolios, and an ETF that a new market normally lacks — a reference point for how tokenized stocks are actually doing.
Price transparency. We surface on-chain vs. exchange drift, spreads, and liquidity so traders can see what's real and what's stale.
Volume to the right pools. Every buy link and terminal trade routes to the verified issuer pool, concentrating liquidity where it belongs and starving counterfeits.
Anti-counterfeit tooling. Sourcing contract addresses from the official registry helps users avoid the honeypots that plague every young chain.
Self-custody activity stays on-chain. The terminal keeps trading permissionless and local, adding real transactions to the chain rather than routing them off it.
